Hi
I have issues for two cars...

Car 1:
I have one car which is off road and I would like to sell it. I have gone to webuyanycar and they gave me a quotation but said they would take a cut of around £150 for their admin etc. which brings the final total to very low price so I would like to explore.
Are there other websites which can provide online evaluations so I can get a max. price.

Car2:
Its 2014 Antara model but has been driven for 90k miles and I would like to retain it. Are there any good insurance companies available which can cover it for accidental mechanical and electrical damage as getting out a Network Q warranty is going to cost me around £500 a year.

Many thanks..

For car 1, list the fault and stick it on ebay.

For car 2, surely it cant be worth that much money? (quick google says £5k) If the cost of the repair exceeds the value of the car then you would be scrapping it anyway. Getting a warranty for a 90k miles car thats 5 years old is going to be expensive and probably have big limitations in the event of the claim.

Are you expecting it to go wrong?

Yes, you can list as an auction or as a classified ad, the prices will differ depending on which you do.

If it's a real shed there are lots of companies that will buy for scrap. I did 2 recently and got £100 and £160. All done on line and collected, no fees, no haggling. Depends if you think you'd get any more on Ebay and can be bothered with the hassle.

    .

Wouldn't even bother if you've looked after it, regularly serviced it and fixed things when they broke instead of leaving them. Most, if not all warranties exclude the things that are likely to go wrong anyway.
