Morning.......its a while since I last posted, life goes on. My back is giving me a lot of problems and the tenosynovitis in my left wrist has not responded to physio, doing the exercises has, at times caused tears it is so painful.
Beautiful morning, I am going to try and pot up some cuttings I took from the overwintered geraniums.......they are growing away good style.
OH is pottering in the garden, he has planted up his two beds and has tomato's in grow bags on the small patio. We have enjoyed sitting out on the new patio we had put in last year, its in the shade for most of the morning before the sun gets right round.
Foot lady here this morning, when she has been I will be out in the garden, I can sit at the table to do the planter.
Smoked haddock, poached egg with bread and butter for supper tonight. I have rhubarb for dessert.0 -
Morning all,
What a beautiful dayI am off out for lunch with my friend later. She thought she might not make it as someone ran into her car last week and the insurers have decided to write it off & she didn't know how long that meant she'd have the courtesy car. I'm also out with my cousins on Thursday
Dumpling, hope Lee gets in catering college.
Not much happening here.Mr & Mrs Grumpy next door are away so no yappy dog and the rest of the neighbours have been chatting in the sun, definitely a lighter atmosphere when they're not here
I hope you can all make the most of the weather and have a good day x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)0 -
Hello all
It's been a lovely day here too, wall to wall sunshine :j.
We have been out since 9am and have only just got in. We had an appointment at the opticians this morning and I've now got to have varifocals, as my eyesight for long distance has deteriorated. ( much like the rest of me :rotfl: ). Mr Fix It got away with just new reading glasses, but the cost of all of it was an arm and a leg .
I needed new underwear and Mr Fix it needed new T. shirts so town was well and truly covered and we decided to have lunch out too, which was very nice.
On the OS front...... I'm trying to keep the washing down so I have put a small wash in the WM which I shall put out on the whirly now.
Nelski I'm sorry that you're feeling under par. I hope you feel better soon.
TA well done to the dancing girls :T. You must be very proud of them.
Dumpling my fingers are crossed for Lee.
Gintot I'm probably too late but I hope you enjoy Weymouth.
AOD good luck with the move for tomorrow.
Holly enjoy your coffee time.
Taff I hope you took it easy today.
Take care all

We've had a lovely day in the Yorkshire sunshine. We started off in Skipton where Steve went to the optician who thought his weird eye symptoms were down to the chemo and to go back again when he's finished it.
Then we went to the farm shop and bought picnic stuff and drove to Malham, picnicking by the stream, finishing ff with ice-cream from the cafe.
Sadly we have to go home tomorrow after the window glazers have been.
hugs to all those in need.0 -
Evening.
I did my chores and then bought DM a couple of new tops. She's now a size 10, down from a 16 this time last year. She loved them, thank goodness though I will take one back. I left her sitting in the hospital garden with a load of other patients all enjoying the glorious sunshine. Only two more nights until she's home - what a slog it's been and I'm sure there's more ahead.
I've also got a local dentist to come out on Tuesday to have a look at the dental plate, that's been another saga!
Whilst sitting doing the pieces of work I had planned I managed to knock a glass of water over my papers, wet carpet and soggy assessments. :rotfl:
Snoozer - Skipton is such a lovely place. I don't know it well, only how to get to the swimming pool though I always enjoyed the drive there.
Nan - it's horrid when parts of the body start to fail. I try to ignore them. :rotfl:
Gintot - I hope Weymouth was sunny for you.
My evening will be peaceful.0
