N180 Directions Questionnaire

Could I suggest that a clear recommendation on emailing the completed N180 to the CCBC & Claimant rather than sending by post be added to the newbie thread?

I've certainly read in threads about the above, but recalling the search criteria to repeat previous search results can be frustratingly difficult on this platform; even using a desktop.

Also, in the short term, please could anybody confirm whether the generic CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk is the correct recipient address for the defendant's completed, scanned PDF copy of form N180?

Thanks in advance, all.

Yes that's the right email address (after this stage you never use that email addy again). Thanks for the suggestion - I will edit the NEWBIES thread with changes this month sometime when I get a quiet couple of hours.

Shout if I miss it...you make a good point.

Thanks so much for your reply, Coupon.

A reply in the time it took me to scan the form. Honestly, wouldn't expect that if I were paying premium rates!

I'll be returning my second claim soon (yet to arrive) so that'll serve as a timely reminder.
...I may well attempt a concise note which a forum mod or yourself could bolt on to the relevant Bargepole thread, which is already linked in the newbie's thread.

    Thanks again.

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams and will fail in court so complain to your MP.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.
