As said in a previous post I was driving last year and was hit by a driver whilst I was uninsured, it has been over a year of me trying to receive funds from the insurance company I was dealing with, they originally paid out but cancelled check, they have accepted liability, but throughout have given my excuses, Liability issues, waiting for a police report & now that Qudos insurance have gone bankrupt, they told me this after I said a 14 day notice letter, I have again rang them today but it seems like they have no intention of paying out, where can I go from here?? Thank you!

If not for the fact that you were driving whilst uninsured at the time of the collision, you would be able to claim from your insurer.

You are now dealing with the administrators of a failed company as an unsecured creditor. You may still have a claim against either or both of the MIB or the other driver personally, however.

This might be one for the Financial Services Compensation Scheme and you could do some research. The other driver may be willing to claim as it takes the heat of them.

Yep, entirely possible. Qudos are on the list.
