Hi,
Can anybody help me please.
I cancelled flights with last minute.com and they have given me a voucher which can only be used on lastminute.com or a site called Bravo. I cancelled after 1 day. The flights were booked for travel one day after purchase.
Does anyone know if I am entitled to a cash refund?
Thanks

Confused as to why you are mentioning holiday insurance, did you book that at the same time?0

Is he talking about their "cancellation insurance"?

Would any proper insurance policy let you buy it and then cancel the day afterwards without an extremely good reason?0 -
It comes when you buy directly from the site and yes it obviously does let you cancel straight away as that’s what it’s done. Such a shame that this website is not supportive, last time I posted on this website, I got lots of unhelpful unconstructive comments.
I have checked the policy wording and am unable to decipher it even though I work with the regulations every day0 -

not unless you purchased (expensive) fully refundable tickets
If you added full-flex for a few £ it is pretty clear that it is a voucher.
FullFlex
Can’t travel anymore? You can cancel any time for any reason. No questions asked.
Hassle free: Just give us a call and we’ll send you a voucher worth 90% of the original ticket price
No Handling fees & priority assistance: we will not charge handling fees to cancel or modify your booking.
full t&cs are on the site - https://custom-doc.s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/insurance-conditions/terms-and-conditions/73/en_GB/fullflex_en_GB.pdf
Out of interest, which airline? Many allow you to cancel within 24 hours for full refund (not applicable if you choose to book through a third party)0 -

Well nobody knows the terms of the policy you bought  so you can moan all you like, people can only be helpful if you actually provide some details.0 -
Hi, i purchased FUllflex option with Lastminutecom had to cancel a flight last year due to health problemsand ive been trying to use the credit for 654euros for the past 2 days. It seems impossible just to re book a flight through their website. I eventually booked a flight i needed through another agent who had worked for them at a cost of £100 more than the flight shown on the last minute website. Ive tried phoning over 25times now and only managed to speak to two different people. I usually get cut off as the ref no. for the cancellation flight from last june isnt recognised. How do i use this voucher?? when i spoke to the first operator on L.M he actually said he could book me the flight i wanted which was £649. He then said it was over £1,000+ and i would have to pay the excess £400+ on my debit card. I panicked and thought i was being scammed so hung up and then managed to get them to say id have a return call to sort this out. /since then the flights are gone & prices risen a lot. How do/can i use this credit voucher?? moral of this is NEVER ACCEPT A CREDIT VOUCHER although i did a few years ago from Expedia and never had any problems. Its been very stressful0

refund by credit voucher is the terms of the fullflex policy...there is no other option on that policy.shaktibhakti10 said:moral of this is NEVER ACCEPT A CREDIT VOUCHER

You would likely have been better purchasing proper travel insurance
