PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING: Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. Doh, stress of moving. I filled in the online gov gateway land tax refund form but did an incorrect calculation and put down a refund figure less than it should have been. Someone tell me that hmrc do the calculation and will see my error. I provided the UTRN ref and all the other details were correct. I have no idea how to contact the department, looked all over for a phone number
SDLT geek, thank you so very much. I spoke to a person and she put a note on my file, I have now submitted a correct claim. Could not have done it without you
