If you pay higher rate in retirement then it is less attractive. The sweet spot is getting 40% tax relief on earnings but then only paying 20% in retirement. ( plus of course 25% is always tax free) .
In this case it beats all other forms of investment hands down as long as you can wait to access the money .0 -
