    Morning all

Beautiful bright sunny day here I have stripped the beds and got them on the go in the wm will hang it out today.

SO why don't you start looking into a day centre for your DH? even if its for a day a week or a morning or afternoon they will keep his amused and have things for him to do and people to chat too, they would even provide his beloved hot choc, this would give you a little bit of 'you' time, Ive seen first hand how hard it is looking after someone with dementia and you sound exhausted, please look into it, a call to the social services dept at your local council offices should do it, sending hugs xx

We will be off walking today once OH is back from the boot sale, we also have some ebay parcels to pack and another three things to list, we are doing quite well atm.

Dinner tonight will be bbq which we both love, well OH loves cooking it and I love sitting out with wine :D

    Have good days all xx

Afternoon! Hospital was fairly quick, realised I could park where it was free today so didn't even have to pay for a change. Took about an hour, will probably have side effects tomorrow they tell me...Next appointment in 3 months. Came home and slept for 3 hours...

Have been told to drink plenty of water... Remeber when you were a kid and you drank too much liquid and after a while, if you joggled about a bit when you were lying down you could hear it sloshing around inside you? That...:)
Moved the rest of the compost yesterday and und thepallets, draggedd them of to t side. Ive been sitting on a log trying to think of the best way to delineate it...More wood I think....
SO, you are having a rough old time of it aren't you...I know he's a bit rubbish at stuff but is there any way you could ask your son to mind his father for a few hours of an evening so you can shake loose somewhere?
Nelski, hope youre enjoying it in spite of not feeling it...There's a lot of lamb going round today isn't there? Wotcha Missings.
    Sun filled Sunday!

    Afternoon all.

Had a good visit with DM, she ate most of the lamb hotpot and all of the ice cream. The woman with dementia in the next bed was causing some noise though she sort of settled down to a game of dominos with another patient whilst still being adamant that she was going home.

DM made me play her at Scrabble on her iPad - I hate Scrabble and, inevitably, she won! Her wanting to play it was good as it shows she's beginning to take up her usual interests again. Yesterday she finished the small crossword in The Times - things are hopeful.

I've been looking of Freecycle for a 'fireside chair' for DM and a computer chair with arms. No luck yet, I will probably have to buy from new. No matter, as long as it helps DM. Tomorrow I need to take back the wheelchair to BRC which has never been used though I'm contemplating extending the loan to see if it can be used for DM.

As for me... the sun is out and I am free of most hassles. My thoughts are with all those struggling.
