It all depends on which service it is. Most cars have a service A and a service B. One is usually more expensive than the other as it involves more checks and more fluids need changing.
...and that's assuming the garage in question have actually bothered looking at the service book, rather than just offer an "annual service" of their own devising.

I would assume my annual service included routine stuff like brake fluid and air con servicing :S I need to check the documents.

Very unlikely to include these 2 things, they are usually extras even with main dealer servicing.

As mentioned, it's likely to be an oil and filter change and possibly an air and fuel filter change if it's the more expensive one. The rest will be a vehicle inspection and advice.

We had an MOT done on our car at Arnold Clark.
My husband checked the tyres beforehand and they were a good but above the limit.
He got a phone call telling him his tyres were illegal and asking permission to change them.

He replied they had been checked two days before and were fine so no.

When he got the car back he checked them agin , out of curiosity, and they were still a good bit above the limit.

Exactly right, as an owner of Fiestas since 2012 I know that a Ford dealer service does not include these items, so the it's a very remote possibility that AC will.

Aircon service should be no more than £50, brake fluid change around £30.
