Any advice regarding my yucca plant please – am I under or over watering or is it something else?

The don't need much watering, they also like it cool-ish if the ones my mother had were any clue. They lived in the living room out of the sun on the floor, the room was quite cool even cold in the winter, and usually cool in the summer. She would put them in the shower a few times a year and shower water on them, to clean the leaves and to water.
I think you are watering it too much.
Stick your finger in the soil a fingertips worth down., if it's moist, don't water.

I note it's in a ceramic pot, is it waterlogged?

Pots with no drainage are a no no. But ive had these just die with the stem going soft.even in the correct pot.

    That looks like sun scorch.

Ours is in hall with only a skylight and regularly needs cutting down as it gets too big.

That pot doesn't look very big for the size of plant.

Have you fed i?If it has been in the compost for a while there will be no feeding left.

Repot it into a bigger pot with fresh compost and start to feed it after 6 weeks, when the initial goodness has been used up.
