RBS definitely need to work on their first line support and the app itself, which does not offer exporting transcripts and disables screenshots. I cant be bothered to follow up on this, but I'm fairly sure they should/must offer a way to keep transcripts for your own records.

Copy function is disabled.
I'd agree about it possibly making sense in general to not allow screenshots in banking apps, but ultimately, if I want to I should be able to; an implementation like Starling banks is fine, where you have to go into security settings in the app and toggle it for 1 hour. It's also very feasible that the permission could be granted in the messaging part of the app and not others too.0 -
Really they should hold a copy of the transcript somewhere.
Maybe a DSAR request will yield some results?0
