I check all the time. Like picking a scab is right, it's a compulsion even though you know you shouldn't.

I don't worry about whether it has gone up or down.
I do exactly the same! On the last day of every month I record a variety of figures, including pension and share/fund values.
At the moment, I'm checking my VLS100 almost daily but that's only because I'm looking to invest the remainder of my LISA cash. Not trying to time the market as such, but this week seems to have been pretty negative so I thought I'd give it a few more days in case things take a massive dive following Trumpy's latest shenannigans. No doubt as soon as I invest, the price will immediately plummet anyway.0
