Bank Charge Statement - do i need to do anything else?

I have received the six years of statements detailing my bank charges from the Abbey with a covering letter from them saying that the OFT has agreed that claiming back charges are on hold.

Do i need to write to the Abbey formally requesting that i wish to reclaim these charges in the event of the court ruling in the OFT's favour?

I just wondered if i can and need to to take action at this stage.

Yes, Ive been advised by the Financial Obsbumen to continue with the claim as normal, but obviuosly be standard letter when I ask for the refund.

Personally I would also continue - my reasoning, if the test case comes out in our favour ie bank charges are illegal or say any amount over £12 (as per credit card agreement), the number of people jumping on the bandwagon, at least your letter be in b4 theres x
