There are ways of improving what time has done to you, but basically it will boil down to your own discipline. In other words, how much you REALLY want to improve things. It really isnt down to what product/treatment you can afford.
Suzi Grant wrote a fab book - Alternative Ageing. ISBN 978-0-718-14846-1 Her theory is "the secret to healthy ageing isnt surgery, but the food we put into our bodies, some fantastic non-surgical procedures, the lifestyle we lead, and the attitude we have to life. Its an inspirational read.
I think deep down we all know what we need to do, drink water, eat well, exercise, and sleep well.
Sunlight is your best friend, try to go out for a short walk every lunchtime. (Sunlight increases production vitamins that help anti ageing.
Water - ah, I always mean to drink it, but I much prefer mine with coffee or alcolol mixed with it. I take soluble vitamin C to help counter-act the effects of the alcohol.
Nutrition - eat what's in season, avoid anything processed. Natural food is the key.
Some products are a treat for skin - but not the chemical ones that cost the earth. Look for organic, natural products. www.rawgaia.com have some great ones.
It may all sound a bit puritanical, but if you really want to see an improvement without drastic expensive measures, mother nature really does hold the answers.
I publish a health magazine and we have been researching this area for some time now. www.wellbeingmagazine.com/gwent November/December issue will be on-line soon with our recommendations.
Finally - there is one great product that we all love - Chocolate - a few squares a day of the really good stuff - over 60% cacao you need - contains more antioxidants than even green tea. Skin products containing raw cacao are great too. So a little of what you fancy really does do you good! :j
Thanks for that - have made note of book and will be going back for look at mag.0
