Furniture Village - Cribbs Causeway

I know that furniture stores sometimes do not get good press BUT on this occasion I have nothing but praise for the staff at FURNITURE VILLAGE Cribbs Causeway store.

We visited them yesterday and they were ultra helpful in helping us decide what style of sofas would suit our home and its difficult access and then arranged for us to have a better quality leather at a special rate. All this without being pushy or trying to sell us endless credit etc. In fact they even gave us a 10% discount when we told them we had seen a code on MSE!

When they found out that we had had a problem with another retailer which has left us without Sofas for Christmas they offered us a loan suite and delivered to our home free of charge this morning.

Now that surely is keeping the customer satisfied.

I have to agree, we bought a bed from them. No pressure and cheaper than Helibeds. It arrived BEFORE the due date, we were called and they agreed the date to deliver it, on the day they called in the morning giving us a 2 hour time slot they would be there, which they were, then took the bed upstairs, unpacked it, set it up, took all the packaging away, very friendly guys.

    Highly recommend them. :T

  • I was in a Furniture Village last Saturday.

Sitting on a nice sofa we were interested in.... family on the next sofa up were talking to a salesman and said ok, we want a 3 seater, 2 seater and an armchair. The advertised was close to £3.6K and the bloke asked for a deal to buy there and then.

The salesman replied a deal wasn't possible as it was for sale at cost price and they weren't making any profit on it....

I got up and walked out as I wasn't going to deal with someone who lies

Having just read 'The Mrs' post and I can't help feeling that she should have spoken to the sales person herself and not just eavesdropped on someone else's' conversation.

Who knows she may have been pleasantly surprised!
