Hi
I am going to the US over the Christmas period and was thinking about one of the above cards to avoid foreign currency fees.
I have searched the forums but cannot open certain threads as they seem to be disabled.
I won't be borrowing money on the card just using it to pay for things. Also no balance transfer required.
Any thoughts on which is better? If it comes down to exchange rate, does anyone know where I can find out which is better on that front?

Have a look at Martin's blurb http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/cards/cheaper-spending-overseas#abroad
Exchange rates vary from day to day, so I guess you will never be able to nail that one unless you have both cards![strike]Debt @ LBM 04/07 £14,804[/strike]01/08 [strike]£10,472[/strike]now debt free:j

Thanks for that link itsnever2lateisit. I had looked on the main site's pages but didn't find this article.
As the article says the PO card is better, I am probably going to with that as I am happy to help the PO earn some money.0 -
You get a more generous credit limit with the PO card as well
People who don't know their rights, don't actually have those rights.0 -
.........or even the Bank Of Ireland as it's their card !
Well yes, but only certain institutions offer their own cards. The rest are branded.
And the PO will make some money out of me spending on the card and given the organisation's precarious financial position, I am happy to help.0
