Domain parking for .com

I am looking for recommendations for places I can transfer a couple of domains to park them/keep them.
I dont have them linked to web hosting or services - I just registered my kids names .com after they were born (many) years go and have just kept paying every couple of years - maybe one day they will be famous and need them!
currently with 123-reg and the latest renewal has come through at £20 per year per .com - I can do a Google search just to compare prices but does anyone have any specific info that I should consider although I am sure I will transfer to wherever is the cheapest for now.

Go with the cheapest :money:
crazydomains, porkbun, namesilo, alldomains, dynadot, OVH, onlydomains - they all offer annual renewal of .com for 9 bucks or less
Search google and you may even find a referral code for a small discount for the transfer (transfers are free, but you will have to pay for at least 1 years renewal)
You may want to consider free WHOIS Privacy to comply with GDPR - most are free but I know onlydomains and crazydomains do charge extra0 -
I've found 123-reg to be generally competitive. Would recommend renewing the domains for ten years, if you want them for that long, which is I think the maximum they offer. You will get a slight discount for this and you avoid yearly price rises in the intervening years.
You may find other options offering cheaper but from what I've seen a lot of those business seem to have the model of charging you a small fee for the first year and then overcharging renewal fees when that time comes around.
Some places may not but for .coms most registrars I've seen do charge a small fee to move a .com domain, usually around £10-15, so that is something else to consider and check when comparing prices.0 -
Thanks for the replies.
I have started a transfer - seems very straightforward up to now, got a special code from old provider and given it to new provider (like a PAC when porting mobile number to a new carrier)
ref 123-reg pricing - it was £20/year for a single .com and ive just switched to someone charging around £10. As there is no web hosting or services for now, its no big issue and I will just switch as required if pricing for year 2 or 3 starts to rise.0 -

Did you read the OP's post? He has been quoted £20 per domain per year to renew them.
The places I quoted are 9 USD or less (about £6.50) - that's an additional £13.50 per year per domain 123-reg are seeking.
If the OP were to renew for 10 years as you suggest, that would be an additional cost of £135 per domain
As for costs of transfer, there are none with the services I indicated, save for the usual cost of renewal for at least 1 year (or I think one may charge about 10c, or about 7p, additional compared to their usual renewal charge)0
