There are lots of references to blogs and sites in the different threads, but it would be great to have a thread where people can post linkys to their favourites.

I'll start with this one. It is American, but says it goes to people 'all round the world'. I like it, interesting to browse.

I look forward to seeing what everyone else posts. :D

that site looks interesting thanks MM, bookmarked for later!

A lot of the blogs I visit are from the shabby chic thread but my absolute favourite blog which I read every day is Rhonda Jean's Down To Earth which is about their simple lifestyle and includes soap making, stitching, regular swaps (totes, etc) and always a very interesting read

    ;)
... don't throw the string away. You always need string! :D

Thanks to Armybike for linking to this article in the Jamie oliver thread, because the article contains a link to this blog by Fiona Beckett. I'm a fan of her student cookbooks and have a copy of Beyond Baked Beans Budget beside me now. I've long since left my student days behind, but it is a marvellous budget cookbook.

Naturally I shall be buying the book of the blog -if i weren't so frugal in the kitchen I wouldn't be able to fund my cookbook habit.:D

    Hi thriftlady,

That blog looks really interesting, thank you. I've added your post to the blogs thread so that others can find the links easily.

  • Its going to take me hours to look at all the blogs on this thread :D Just when I had some cleaning to do in the house:rotfl::rotfl:

I have recently started up my own blog and love looking at other peoples. Mine started off as a record of our family trying to save money and live more frugally but now its kind of just a record of what's going on in my life.
  • Does anyone have any other blogs that they follow as this is a couple of years old and I am sure that there are loads of new ones about that people are following.....

Oh well - I'll start the ball rolling with my foodgrowing blog:

    http://mygardeningnotes.blogspot.com/

as in its turned into a blog about the foodgrowing efforts made by individuals and community groups - so I reckon foodgrowing is pretty O.S. - about as O.S. as it can get to get one's food as cheaply as possible and (often) within a "community" context. Thats what this is all about as far I can see...:D

Being the "links" person I am - I've basically given every useful link I can find about this on there - 'tis a lotta links:D Happy reading.:rotfl:

...and I'm definitely non-commercial - adverts....perish the thought. Cant see any advertisers even wanting to advertise with me:D - but if they did - then they would get very short shrift - as I am very against advertising...
  • Mines a blogger blog and I have enabled the Adsense option (not that I make any money from it) so I won't post a link to mine but if anyone wants to check it out the link is in my profile.

I will be interested to look at everyone elses blogs.
