It looks like a good place for working out how to budget and save, and generally make the most of your money. I look forward to more visits and I hope you find something of value on my blog. Thanks to Dobie and QOTD for your kind words.
Now I'm off to read some of your wonderful threads.0 -

Have you found http://www.bloglines.com ? It's a really easy way to read updates on blogs without having to visit each one individually. Just add the webaddress of the blogs you want to read and it will automatically show you the new posts on one easy page.
My list of blogs to read is just getting longer. They give me so many ideas of what to try out myself but I find that I have no time to do any of it because I'm reading so many blogsCos I don't shine if you don't shine.0 -
Hi everyone
I was just wondering if any of you have any good money saving, self sufficiency or thrifty blogs to recommend?
I read a mile a minute and get bored quite easily - thing is when I type in money saving in google blogger it comes up with all sorts of sponsored rubbish like consolidation stuff. (yawn yawn lol)
I subscribe at the moment to Hill Billy housewife (although it is a bit American `god squad' for my liking!) and also Zen Habits.
Anyone else got any good recommendations?

Hi sassers,
There's a recent thread on this with lots of links that might help so I've added your thread to it to keep all the replies together.

I could be VERY wicked here and suggest you might like to drop in on my "living on $12,000 a year" thread - do this by changing the number on the website address at the top of the page to 499372 or just click on my username and look for other threads I have started. Seem to remember someone called it "Blog Central" - as a lot got mentioned during the course of it;)0 -
