High water bill

The seasonal pattern and very high meter readings makes me think of something else to investigate if there's no obvious evidence of a leak. It's not unknown for a water company to make a mistake and fit a meter to a pipe that feeds more than one home. "Your" water meter might be measuring the water used by you and one or more neighbours. If they use more water in the summer (to water the garden etc) it might explain it.Solar install June 2022, Bath

I just wanted to update this. Thames Water have just been round and confirmed that it’s a leak from my house to the boundary which they will fix free of charge. What a relief! After all the readings I took he basically took less than 10 minutes to confirm this. Brilliant outcome 0
