Old TV/Netflix

Hi,

What would be the cheapest way to get Netflix on an old TV (Sony KDL-32CX523)

Chrome cast? Fire stick?

Thanks in advance

As long as your TV has HDMI, using things like Chromecast and Firestick will be fine

Depending on how many extra channels you require, a NowTV stick can be very cost effective and will give you Netflix as well as BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, 4OD and My5 catch up and YouTube, Vevo etc.

If you have a computer connect it to that, it's how I watch Netflix. Assuming you have broadband.

If the TV has HDMI, then numerous models of Panasonic and other BluRay player will, when connected to your home network, provide access to Netflix. Some have wireless built in, some need the Panasonic dongle.

£30 on eBay for a typical one at the moment.

With a Chromecast, you need to cast from something - a phone, tablet, PC etc. So you need to make sure you can do this before buying one of those.

    Used NowTV box?

Agreed - this would be the cheapest way - and if you shop around you can even get one that comes with x months of movies, or x months of sports etc. you can cancel the subscription to now tv though and just pay for nextflix if thats all you want
