We got one of the Aldi CCTV sets, wired connection, got it all up and working fine at home. Downloaded App to iPhone, works fine when connected to WiFi at home. Nothing when ion 4G or away from home, just shows offline.

Had it suggested it is Port Forwarding so read up and done that I think. Still nothing. Strange thing is I have a WiFi camera and that works and I can view it away from home.

It will be port forwarding or firewalling in the router ... different cameras (and other things) use different ports and transport protocols and what works for one may not work for another.

you will need the app to point to your current IP address and as has been said port forwarding will need to be set up to allow incoming connections to connect to the ports your cameras use

Helped by a local friend. Re-sync'd Homeplugs then found the right ports to open.
