Occupiers Consent Form?

Hi All,
We are in the process of buying house. (Something new every day)
Received few forms from our solicitors few days back (Mortgage information and Mortgage report) and mortgage deed was missing.
We need to fill in details of any occupants who will be above 17 on the forms and our daughter is turning 17 in mid of May, so I emailed her details to our solicitors.
Today I received email from solicitors
Now we are worried
What that Occupiers Consent form is?
Why the solicitors need to send us a duplicate mortgage deed from the lender?
Will this cause any further delay in our house buying process?

I rang my lender Santander and told them about my daughters age Occupiers consent form and they said that they need it in writing form the solicitors. I have emailed solicitors about whole conversation. Many thanks for this – you will need to speak to your mortgage lender to update them also.
We will arrange to obtain a duplicate mortgage deed from your lender to send to you.

It is a standard form.
It ensures that in the event that you default on the mortgage repayments, and the lender repossesses the property, they do not have difficulty evicting your daughter (whomight otherwise claim occupation rights).0 -
Thanks GM as always.
Now the second part where I am confused as to whether Occupier consent form is related to mortgage deed and why the solicitor need to get a duplicate mortgage deed from the lender (need to include the details of my daughter)0 -
Every occupant over 18 needs to sign (or perhaps it's 17) ...
It could be interesting for families with stroppy teenage children, who want to hold their parents to ransom...

I had to have such a form signed to ensure my buyer got vacant possession, not move in and find my teenage daughter still in residence.0
