    Hello Peeples.

Sorry to come back with a bit of a rant and a moan but at the moment i am feeling incredibly despondant as have been given some bad news at work today and not sure of my path ahead really.

At the moment, we are being paid commission on exchange, however we have been told today that we are from here on in being paid on completion instead, which in many cases can take up to 6 months. Something they very kindly omitted from our nice shiney new contracts we were sent.

So basically over the next few months, really the next three I will be pretty much on purely basic salary and mileage which frankly means.. pardon my language... i'm bug gered.

    Not fab. at all.

Oh hugs Pania! surely if that wasn't in the new contract then they can't enforce it surely? and what happens if someone leaves will they have to wait 3 months or more for their final salary?

OMG that's awful.!!!!..is that because people are pulling out of buying at the last minute. What an awful bit of news and hugs from here.I always thought mortgage brokers got paid on completion and never realised that they got paid before completion..hugs from here for you and I don't blame you having a rant.
  • So sorry to hear that Pania, rant away...... the swines!!!!!

I would also think if it isnt in the contract then they cant enforce it,
unless of course they give you 90 days notice and enforce it now,
would look into that if I were you

Oh no P, how crappy. :(

How much less is it likely to be? Could it be made up by huge efforts to ebay, car boot, matched bet, bingo like a crazy lady etc?

We'll help you get through it....just keep swimming hun, and (((hugs))).

Hi guys. I feel a CAB visit coming on. Just been talking to a senior advisor and he has spoken to a certain union that shall remain nameless. alot of what the company are trying to do is against employment regulation, lack of notice of changes etc. may go see them tomorrow and have a natter.
It will leave me frighteningly short just covering my outgoings with nothing spare if i am lucky. Sadly all the ebaying MBing etc i was going to do was going to help get my debt down so i could happily accept the k9 job in september. I've put in an app to barclays while sitting here waiting for an hour. Just been told to go home after hanging around for my financial review for an hour which hasn't happened either!!! GAAAHHHH!!!!!

no commission payable if you are in your notice period dragon so therefore a lot of what is done will be lost if you leave the company:mad:
