P - don't you DARE ring up the gas board on behalf of OH. Would he ring the landlord if YOU wanted to reduce your rent????

Sorry, but if he wants to sort out his payment, let him sort it out - similarly, utilities come out of his account. End of - why are you paying any more out of your account? Respond by saying you have paid enough out of your account to him in the past, this time he is on his own.

If he refuses to pay it, then it is HIM that the gas board will chase - he will soon learn his lesson and you are not financially linked so any ultimate nasty stuff that might happen should he ignore or refuse to pay will not affect you in the long run (when you are long gone and living the life of riley somewhere else without him.....)

Good news re money going up in May! Like you I'm going to have a tight month having paid too much off - meal out tonight but no alch & London cost more but back to frugal living after that!!
