I have been working through my business accounts, trying to finalise things so I can get a lovely (and much needed) tax rebate!!

I am getting there, but still have a way to go.....

about to go and make a belated lunch.....

Hiya P! I did think about you on Saturday and thought you might be feeling a bit glum - well done for not dwelling on it too much.

Awwww, I am so jealous of the puppy walking. I've just been thinking that if I'd got the evening hours I'd wanted at work, I could have done some lunchtime dog walking. But I suppose I would have had to take Natasha with me, which might not be such a great idea with an unknown dog, so maybe not.

I had a lab all the way through my childhood - they are lovely natured dogs, very boisterous as puppies, but great with kids. If we had room, I would love to get one.

    How is your eye feeling?

  • Hello, Pania and everyone else. Have had a busy weekend, so mainly lurking at weekend. It was dd2 birthday. Teenagers were great all day and we had a hoot. have just about managed to get on computer for a few mins and check on e mails and stuff. Hope everyone is well.

Hello!!! oooh what's for lunch? i had a pickled onion and one slice of toast!!!

good for you with the tax rebate, that will certainly help somewhat..

Hiya Snaggles how are you? Yep I was feeling it a tad on saturday and sunday but OH did something entirely unlike him, packed me in the car, wouldn't tell me where we were off to and took me to a spring fair at Sandringham... "because i knew you'd enjoy it and it would cheer you up" well blow me over sideways why don't you! why oh why can i not see that side to him everyday, I still smile to think about it 24 hours later.
I held a european eagle owl and a harris hawk, massively enjoyed the samples in the food tent, watched lots of crafty people doing crafty stuff and met a very scarey ferret woman who had 38 of the little blighters!!! told OH that if that is what i am going to turn into then he can rehome them now!!!

I also by a very very small world coincidence bumped into an old dog handler friend of mine from kent police who has retired to here, he recognised me as soon as we walked past each other and we chatted for a good 15 minutes which was lovely. He was so nice and supportive of me when I was trying to get onto the dog section, taking me out on night duties, letting me lay tracks and searches for his dog etc that it was just so nice to see him again. He was thrilled when i said i was pursuing it from a different direction now and encouraged me to continue which was heartening.

Puppy lady has called time until i can get some references together proving myself to be a trustworthy individual so i am working hard on that. It is a lovely thing to do snaggles and I guess if you had an old dog or a quiet dog it would walk quite happily with Natasha besides teh push chair..

I however am a big boisturous fun size dog person adn would love either one of these....

    or one of these...

last week I reserved a GSD pup at the local animal shelter but i think being realistic I need the house before i can get the pup so may need to wait a while :o but if i move home within the next month or so then maybe just maybe.... I miss my two boys massively and it is very strange not having a dog around, even though i can see them and take them out it's not the same as having them around you all the time.

So anyway that is my not debt related in the slightest up date! oh, other than i won £7 from a free promo with bingoliner...:T (thought i'd best pull it back on subject somehow!!!:rotfl: )

right, what was i doing? oh yes, work!!!:rotfl:
