The night was so still, they could hear the blood pumping as they wondered what it could be. He reached out to them with his gnarly hand and grabbed the nearest girl.
Here deary, he whispered in her ear. The other girl strained forward to hear better and let out a drawn scream.....

pania, tell us how appt goes. I've kept Specsavers '£10 off eyetest' voucher from yesterday's Grauniad - any use? I know you're booked with A.N.Other, but still....
If not, post here and I'll send it to someone else, if they'd like.

Hope all is gentle, restorative, constructive for you this morning pania - and that applies regardless of you feeling more, or less, à deux.

Ditto... let us know how you get on.

Ampersand - you've just reminded me I've got a free eye test voucher that expires next week, well overdue for one as well, must get booked up. Hoping I can be brave enough to ask them for the prescription then shop around for glasses ;)

Right, off to attempt my ten mile walk  "See" you all later x
