  • afternoon! Well life of excitement here - sighned off for another week, stiches are "beautiful" according to the nurse!! She did comment on the black & bluebruising which I think is much more impressive than the 5 inch incision! 5 rounds with mike tyson with various hues of black, purple & yellow!! Yum! Bad news for my rapidly spreading !!!! is no excercise for 10 more days and DEFINATELY no running or swimming or I may burst my stiches! Great. To consoe myself came home and like all good fat birds, ate chocolate! Must come up with cunning plan...ideas anyone?
P I seriously think doing a race (little one!) would be a good idea - would a 5k be a good starting point...going to email re the watch now...really am getting hacked of now but have to be nice it seems I was being dull s swapping for the 305 will be a goodwill gesture - although the beep is so quite to render it useless...grrrr!
Hope youre ok & head hasnt exploded with all the thinking...:) Meant to say that I know what you mean about trave bug - I loathe the fact that I cant off to papia new guinea (?sp) and the jungle (see extreme dreams bbc2, 6.30pm) at the drop of a hat Here is the egypt trip I did

and the trip I would love to do

Maybe I need to focus on this when I am tempted to splurge on books, wine, fags....well anything really!!

Cunning ideas ISOM? stop referring to yourself as a "Fat bird" and start viewing yourself as the beautiful kind person you are perhaps???? :naughty: give yourself a break hon, you've just had surgery...:kisses3:

Those tours look absolutely fab!!! Never really thought of thailand but it looks intriguing, know what you mean about th ecost though, one day we'll go over to our respective wants and do it guilt free...

I think the inca trail and kilimanjaro are my two top of list travelling locations, other than the obvious:D . Kilimanjaro I think is about £1800:eek: and the inca trail about £1300:eek: :o

While you're waiting for your back to get better, immerse yourself in online brochures and go dream travelling, will halt the boredom and make you feel better...;)
As for the run a 5k would be a fab start, any race for lifes near you? can't believe the garmin still isn't sorted...

  • huroo! Well I am a fat bird! Not a ut down - simple fact!! Not as big as I was more a work in progress! Mum fancies the inca trail & I want to do a big hol wth her ASAP as she's 70 this year so we need to do it while we can...longevity runs in the family but still! I needto get fit frst though & get some debts whacked off! Thailand looks lush! I was going to go before my LBM hit so cancelled it...Kilamanjaro is very vertical isnt it?!! Will have a look for race for life - did one last year but walked it so runnng the whole way would be a definate improvement!....
As for buyingthe books you have ,...umm one that too which is proof (if proof were needed!) that I have too many books...they go sowly on GM though....

    ello!!! how you feeling..

Ooooh i feel all technical telling someone how to quote.... from technophobe central here we go, I've never sussed linky's... maybe one day...

OK highlight the bit you want to quote, right click and copy,
Go to advanced and paste it in.. at front of the copied piece put [ quote= followed by exact user name of person quoted followed by another ]

then at the end of the typing put [/quote]

Continuum ad infinitum with as many as you like.....
