Lunar you rant away my hon and i really do empathise with you for the situation you are in, I think it's a case as you say of people not nowing what to do or say and as a result would rather say nothing but wouldn't it be nice if someone came up to you and said "i'm so sorry i bet you feel realy !!!!!!, fancy a walk?" or something similarly to the point, to the point and over and done with. I just so hope it works for you this time. Rant on here anytime you need.

Iknow how you feel KC, I haven't watched the TV prog, don't need to, more than aware of it already. and yes it is upsetting, incredibly. Looked on the compassion in world farming website last night. there is a picture of a cow looking really trustingly up at the man above her.. who was holding a gun to her head. The fact that cow died seconds later had me in floods.
OH has asked before that if an animal died a natural death would i eat it. Answer yes. One killed purely for our gain, No.

It's the smell of bacon that still gets my mouth watering!!!:o could never eat it though.

Pania, I don't know how on earth you stay so calm. (((hugs))) Don't know what else to say really but you really shouldn't have to put up with being spoken to like that.
