Hitachi DZBD7HE Blu-Ray Disc Camcorder - 2.7" Widescreen LCD (1080p full HD)
I've just found this on Amazon for £248.99 - when it should be around £900 however the specifications on the amazon listing page DO NOT meet that of the actual item, rather the specs meet this camcorder http://www.pixmania.co.uk/uk/uk/546537/art/hitachi/dz-hs300-dvd-hard-drive-c.html , just the tile and graphic do. Please also note this is being sold by PIXMANIA via amazon.co.uk
Im unsure to order this, because i have heard that returning goods to pixmania can be a bit of a nightmare, but then again there could be a good chance they dispatch the camcorder pictured?
Camcorder here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Hitachi-DZBD7HE-Blu-Ray-Disc-Camcorder/dp/B000PKDPCU/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1195325787&sr=8-2

Just bought one for a giggle, took screen shots and saved the web-page..
Lets see what comes of it, my guess is a full refund, unless something else arrives in the post, then its a case of 'thats not what i ordered'..0 -

Pixmania Are French company and seem to supply grey imports on some occasions with French manuals, also I believe it now owned by Dixons group. They have had some bad feedback in past has Pixmania.
Still if it comes a bargain0 -
they did this to me a while ago .............nightmare to get my money back! would Never use pixmania again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0

Nice to see what comes of it.
Ive had all the relevant emails from them so far, but im thinking that tomorrow morning i shall receive an email saying that they cannot supply the item at that price, and i shall need to pay more as they made the mistake.
Then from there, im unsure where we go? I think they should send me the item by right, but i very much doubt it and ill be given a refund where i shall be down on the interest on the credit card with is no more than £2~3 at a guess.
Lets see..0 -

Probably they are trying to clear stock.
Film studios are already jumping from the sinking Blu Ray ship, and the agreement last week that China will use HD DVD means the price of mass market HD DVD players is likely to drop well below the current $98!0 -
Has anyone received their camcorder yet? It shows mine was dispatched yesterday so I am hoping it will be here tomorrow as it is showing on the ParcelForce website as having been sent by parcelforce 24, though it doesn't show any detail such as collection times etc.
Interested to hear richto's views on the future of Blu-Ray. I must say I personally can't remember the last time I saw anything advertised as available on HD DVD, though I have a PS3 so it may be because I'm not looking.0 -
Mine is due for delivery today, but the pixmania site shows that they are delivering the wrong item - The one they show is Hitachi DZ-HS300 DVD/Hard drive camcorder which is very definitely not the same machine!
What are the rules regarding this? They enetered into a legal contract to provided the the Blu-Ray video recorder. Should I go after PixMania, or the credit card company who are jointly liable? To infinity and beyond!0 -
my dz-hs300 come today not happy0
