  • Hi Ghatz,
You have been around for a Month now. It should not come as a surprise that you have received an LBC. This is the process you are involved in.

You need to read the Newbies Thread, and understand where you are in the process and what the next steps are. There are template replies to LBC for you, and a process to follow.

You should also be reading other threads to understand what happens and when.

    Paul

If you look on the right hand side all posts are numbered. This is post 17. Do you see a 17 at the top right corner?

It sounds like you aren't scrolling down far enough or possibly to far.

It is the second post down.

But who owns this car park?
That is the killer question, if you can get a landowner cancellation, or a letter/evidence stating that they do not want this proceeding though court it pretty much pulls the rug from under the parking company.

You MUST also inform the parking company that you have such a letter - provide a copy and send it to them and invite/instruct them to withdraw the court claim with immediate effect.
Yo can thenm use the letter as a very strong point in your defence, and even as a way to claim unreasonable costs against the pakring company

    Thanks for reply Half_way

I have tried to search who owns the land. The franchise staff weren’t very helpful other than saying that the spaces were for customer use but the more I read the more I doubt this. I will try again to get this information from some of the other proprietors and contact the land lord direct if I can obtain that information.

If push comes to shove a search of the land registry isn't overly expensive.
