Home Hub 6

According to reports on the internet the Home Hub 6 is supposed to be the best yet with the best range ever as it has 7 Antenna.


But in my option the Home Hub 5 has a better range.


What do others think?

I think if you want range you should buy a decent hub and not use the cheap free crap.


But YMMV.

HH6 is old SmartHub 1 and now SmartHub 2 are better .SH2 circa £200 .



Personally the HH6 was always that bit better than HH5 .
But a lot depends upon your wifi setup .A badly setup wifi is router agnostic .

Can you use any make of Hub with BT Fibre or do you only have to use their Home Hub's?

That you should use whatever works best for you - if you get better results using the BT Home Hub 5 than using the BT Smart Hub then carry on using the HH5.

While in theory I'd agree in practice somethings wrong or misconfigured if you are getting better performance from hh5-v-Smart Hub. It may just be in the posters mind not the data.
