Quick update - my claim was finally heard yesterday via a remote hearing using BTMeetMe. Gladstone didn’t turn up but long story short, the judge ruled in my favour on the basis that as the pay and display machine wasn’t working, I was unable to fulfil the contract with UKCPM. He didn’t really want to listen to any of my other arguments about inadequate signage, abuse of process etc as he said they were secondary after my main defence about the machine not working. When i asked about costs, he said they weren’t warranted but to be honest, I was happy to take the win.
