PPI with Lloyds - Deceased Parent

Hi all!
We've been told that we can claim PPI for our mother who passed way in 2010. She had a personal loan, a loan shared with my father, and he had a loan of his own. He's already had a £30k payout for the loan that was his own and the one he shared wit her, but as they weren't married and there was no civil partnership in place myself and my brother contacted Lloyds about our mother's PPI.
They initially wrote to us and asked us to sign a form (as there was no will in place when she passed) which we did, and we advised them that there was a possible credit card and at least one loan in her name which we'd like looked into. They've instead written to us advising that they can't find any mortgage in her name. We know she didn't own any property and therefore never had a mortgage.
Should I wait to hear from Lloyds if they're investigating further, or write to them to say they're looking into the wrong finance?
Has anyone had any success with claiming a deceased parents PPI on their behalf with Lloyds?

Yes, people have had success complaining.
If they're looking for the wrong account, tell them.0 -
Yes, I had success reclaiming on behalf of a deceased parent (not with Lloyds though). When I sent my letters to banks, I provided any relevant account numbers I found in my dad's papers, to help the process along. I also asked the bank to check for any other credit cards, loans or accounts he may have held with them and any PPI in connection with these.0
