Getting fed up with Outlook email

Am beginning to get cheesed off with Outlook putting up ever more interposing commercial screens between initial logging in and my inbox. The latest is a 'break free of your passwords' screen aimed at smartphone users, if you please... when all I have is a desktop PC.
I've had enough. They're going to see the back of me.
I need something with a simple layout and no-messing, straight-to-inbox access, ideally with a user friendly, straightforward sign up.
Does this vastly demanding concept exist in reality?

1) Use an email client to read your email - for example OutlookBTW you mean outlook.com (the web based email). There are loads of decent emails clients.
2) Use the paid for service, this eliminates the adverts.0 -
I use a variety of webmail providers (none with outlook.com though) in addition to my paid for service through Thunderbird, but for the last couple of years most new addresses have been with gmx.com.0

I used an ad blocker and it goes straight to the inbox - I've just now logged in to check
That said 99% of the time I use an email client0 -
Use an adblocker (Ublock Origin or Adblock Plus) that will solve the problem and no need to go through hassle of switching. I get straight to inbox, no ads. Or you could use the Mail app if you're on WIndows 10, it's very convenient and effective I find.0
