Claiming insurance on additional drivers

Hi,
I have added my wife as additional named driver six months ago. She had hit the car couple of days ago and there are dents and scratches on both sides of the car that need to be fixed. While couple of mechanics quoted £2500 to fix and possibly replace few parts, one of the bodyshop mechanic said he can fix in £650 without replacing any parts. I anyways need to pay excess of £550 (as its on additional driver), but not sure how much my insurance premium will go up? Any thoughts or suggestions? I am currently thinking of not going through insurance but if I knew how much the insurance premium might increase, then I may be able to take up a better decision. Any suggestions or advice will be greatly helpful. Thank you.
The car is Nissan Qashqai.

Do dummy quotes (as in, false data that doesn't identify you) with and without the claim and you can see. I'd be concerned about someone quoting so much less than others though, can't guarantee the work is good

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

That looks like a quote to do it properly and a quote to do it as cheaply as possibly.

What did she hit? Anything that is going to lead to a third party claim against your policy?
