For a completely wireless camera, there are the Blink ones
    about £100 per camera

Not wireless i.e still need some power via USB psu, but very cost effective are the Wyze cameras ( only available via amazon.com )
    about £30 per camera

The Neos Smartcam is the "UK Version" of the Wyze Camera, it's the same camera but with just a different app and cheaper and easier to get in the UK.

Do you need to monitor this room from another room in the flat?

Do you need the CCTV for burglary protection, or some other reason?

Do you want to be able to record only when someone moves within the room, to detect intruders, or for some other reason?

We've had a basic Yi home camera for a year or so now. Was around £25 and has been reliable and the quality is fine - similar to all the above suggestions I imagine thought perhaps more basic - When we bought it I didn't expect it to work as well as it does for the price.

Have a look at Arlo. Not cheap, but very flexible.
