A quick gloss over shows that it's a standard 0% purchase/balance transfer card.

Balance transfer has a balance transfer fee of 2.49% which you should be able to beat elsewhere. E.g. Barclaycard has a 0% fee, 0% interest balance transfer card.

What would you want to use this card for?

If you want to use it for purchases (not paying full balance)/balance transfers, it's doable but for balance transfers there are far better options available on the market.

If you intend to pay the full balance each month then if you can get a reward card, that would be preferable as it's essentially free cashback/reward points for your everyday shopping.

Take a quick look at your credit report on MSE Credit Club, ClearScore & Noddle to see what cards are available to you.

I’m not saying you shouldn’t consider it but I had consistently poor customer service from them when I had a BOI CC. Just sayin.

BOI are behind the Post Office credit card and my experiences with them have been terrible, from getting the account open through to how the handled the complaint I made about it. I would say maybe avoid them as others have said there are better deals available elsewhere.

With 24 months 0% period, this Mastercard Matched is currently the best/longest 0% purchase card on offer, isn't it?
Sainsbury's Bank's 27 months offer has been reduce to only 20 months.

They used to be the credit provider of Post office credit card, the new Post Office credit cards are provided by Capital One.
Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both.

Well, thanks to seeing this credit card listed on MSE, I applied for it but, so far, the experience has been far from easy! First, the online application form had no space for UK residents so I had to ring up and was told to tick the box indicating that I lived in Ireland! Then they wanted 3 months' bank statements but gave me the wrong email address so a week was wasted before I could continue the application.
Next, the card arrived and, as I do all my banking online, I installed the BoI app but couldn't register without a User ID. Several phone calls and messages later I discovered that the app wasn't for credit card customers as the BoI uses something called Cardcare. When I entered my card details on the Cardcare site I just got an error message saying that my card number was "incorrect".
Finally, messages on social media resulted in a message today telling me that, "card care would not be available for UK customers."
This is SO frustrating. I'm sorry that such a card was advertised on MSE as available to UK customers when there appears to be no possibility of online or mobile access to the account.

Bank of Ireland UK are pulling out of running credit cards in the UK (apart from NI).

They are moving customers to Jaja who have much more modern systems
