A part that is no longer manufactured is a good example of a part on a bike that cannot be replaced... As explained I don't really want this to be identifiable down to an individual case.

I would disagree with the above unless you meant available as a spare part as the fact if it is manufactured or not is irrelevant

I am astonished to hear that any company that sells a £1000 bike discontinues spare parts after only 2.5 years
Have you contacted Raleigh themselves to see if they know of anyone who has or might have stock or have you simply been back to the original supplier who has fobbed you off as you are not their customer?

My guess that it is the front forks that are broken but you might have a hard time proving you did not damage them previously by abusing the bike

I doubt whether a replacement part for such a modern bike cannot be obtained, and I find it very odd you don’t want to tell us what is is, but if you don’t want help to sort the problem then that is entirely your loss.

I would hazard a guess that it's a part that's specific to the fact that it's an e-bike rather than a regular pedal one. I might be right, but we will likely never know as the OP is clearly reluctant to be forthcoming when it comes to any details.

...yet expects lawyers to be having a busman’s holiday browsing these forums and waiting to dispense free advice on their pet subject: unspecified bicycle components.

I knew my degree in Unspecified Bicycle Components would come in handy one day. But the condescending bit at the end means I'm now charging. Feel free to contact me for a quote.
