Selling car to Arnold Clark

I have an appointment next week to sell my car to Arnold Clark, as their online valuation seems reasonable. I am of course expecting the generic sucking on teeth as they point out the 'non-perfect' state my car is in and how the on-line valuation must be dramatically reduced. :rotfl:

Apart from that, has anyone any experience of using them to buy their car?

Thanks

I know a couple of people that have sold their cars like this recently, no problems.

Do you know what your car is worth in A1 condition? Then you can subtract how much of a shed it is. Would you buy it?

Well that was easy! Just sold the car, without any hassle and without any reduction from the online valuation, despite some stone chips and a small 'supermarket' dink in the driver door. I have no affiliation or connection with them, and I would imagine that other car supermarket chains offer a similar service, but I have to say I am very impressed. For the record about 10% more than WBAC were offering, which I guess is because they will sell the car as a retailer rather than sending it on an auction.
