Any Manchester airport tips?

We also fly from Manchester regularly. We find that their security rules are not consistent. Sometimes it's shoes off, other times kept on.

It's worth buying fast track for the grandparents, directly from the airport website.

Good advice about just grabbing seats and staying put!

Mixing up the consistency to make it inconsistent is excellent for tight Security.

One thing to watch out for is overnight motorway closures - with all the roadworks going on on the motorways they're regularly closed overnight, if they are closed it's usually till 06:00. So if it's 40 mins on the motorway make sure the motorway is open, otherwise could be much longer! You can check on the Highways England website https://highwaysengland.co.uk/roadworks-search/

We are flying Easyjet and I just wondered if it would worse or better than a normal day?
