I have given my IPad Air 32 GB to my partner in exchange for her old one. I wiped and reset my IPad and reinstalled her settings using her iPad user password. That all went fine, today she had a msg that there isn't enough room on her cloud to back up. This never happened on her old 16 GB IPad. Her old one is still registered to her, I intend to reset it and give it to the grandchildren, is the problem that she has two iPads on same username and password. I am reluctant to reset her old one just incase something goes wrong. Any help advice appreciated..Thanks

Because the iPad has changed, a new iCloud backup is being done leaving the old one there. Clearly there is not enough iCloud storage to hold two different backups. Simple solution is to try is delete the iCloud backup for the old iPad.

Follow this simple guide to reset your iPad before you give it to someone else.

1. Tap the Settings icon and then tap "General."
2. Tap "Reset" and then tap "Erase All Contents and Settings."
3. Tap "Backup Then Erase" if you want to make a copy of your iPad's content before the reset. If you know you've already done this recently, you can just tap "Erase Now."
