Hello,
I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I would like some advice please.
I am about to start a job as a live in carer on a 4 week on 1 week off basis. I don't want to be paying monthly rent and council tax on a place I will only be living in for 10 different weeks of the year. At the same time I want to have my own space and address and not to be in a different house each time on my weeks off.
Is there way of doing it thanks in advance

You have to have a fixed term tenancy for minimum 6 months, or if you want cheaper, rent a room or be a lodger
as a LL, they want security and tenants paying regularly and someone who wants to stay here and then is not a tenant they want, unless they pay for the whole tenancy period
how about staying with friends or family??"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

Can you use your live in place as your main residence and use for post?
How much time off in the 4 weeks working where you may want to get out and be somewhere else?
handy friend/family that will give you address
Near an airport?
Cheap flights/accommodation somewhere warm in the winter.0
