Santander PPI claim Rejected

I had a loan from Abbey / Santander in 2012 for £12000. I remember I had PPI and Life insurance from Aviva as part of the Loan. Recently I have complained to Santander via their website. Today i had a letter saying they have investigated and could not find any attached PPI attached to my loan and cant see sold a PPI. This mean they didn't receive any commission relating to the sale of PPI as any commission would have been a percentage of PPI premium charged.
However they said i can submit any evidence to show that i am paying for PPI towards the loan. I do not have any paper work or statement to sent to them.
What should I do next?

If you have no evidence of having had PPI, then there's no need to do anything more.0

But I do remember I have taken out a PPI and life insurance as part of that loan.0 -
Memories aren't enough.
At least one party needs to produce some factual evidence.0 -
Could I contact Aviva and asked for past policy details? or What will happen if i go to Financial ombudsman?0

If you were paying aviva, it sounds like a monthly standalone policy which would have been correctly sold, especially in 2012. Life insurance is not PPI.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0

Firms were banned from selling PPI at point of sale with financial products in 2010 so you did not have PPI with the loan. It's highly unlikely you had it in 2012 anyway as firms had generally stopped selling it by then unless you took out a separate policy after the loan (firms had to wait 7 days before offering it). If Santander say you didn't have PPI, particularly from such a recent sale, then unless you have documentary proof otherwise, you didn't have it.Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Aviva were never the underwriter for Santander's PPI product. Aviva are more known as life assurance, critical illness and income protection providers rather than PPI.But I do remember I have taken out a PPI and life insurance as part of that loan.
You may well have done something but
a) did you actually do it via a Satander member of staff?
b) was it actually PPI or a different insurance product?
c) was it done at exactly the same time or a different point? What will happen if i go to Financial ombudsman?
FOS will ask Santander if you had PPI. Santander will say no as they stopped selling it May 2009 and FOS will accept that and reject your complaint.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). You can't make a PPI mis-selling complaint about another type of insurance. Did you even have a different insurance?Firms were banned from selling PPI at point of sale with financial products in 2010 so you did not have PPI with the loan.
Regardless, the OP is indeed wasting his or her time trying to complain about such recent finance...0 -

Yes Santander memeber of staff offered it. I think i did took the policy over the phone in the branch.
b) was it actually PPI or a different insurance product?
This may well as you said; life assurance, critical illness and income protection
c) was it done at exactly the same time or a different point?
This was offered on exact same time0 -

The insurances you purchased are both useful and well regarded. There is no mis-sale. FOS cannot help you here and Plevin does not apply.0
