Although MET might seem pretty harmless at the moment, they have up to six years to work out how to sue you.

You should write to PoPLA seeking clarification and at the same time mention the uncertainty surrounding the contract.

Have you complained to your MP?
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

I have written a formal complaint to my local MP regarding PPC's predatory behaviour and to introduce some sort of regulation to these disgusting companies.

I have also emailed the McDonalds CEO as well as their customer service complaints email outlining my disappointment in them as a company and how they are potentially going to lose a valuable customer if this is not dealt with. Worth a shot I guess.

MET have just emailed me a letter saying that they know POPLA has just rejected my appeal and are requesting I kindly pay £100 charge.

Can I reply back in the kindest way possible reassuring them that they aren't seeing a penny out of me or will it damage my defence and shall I just ignore.

Just tell then, if you feel you have to engage with them, that POPLA decisions are not binding on the motorist/driver/keeper.

POPLA are not an authority and constantly make huge mistakes..

Judges often reverse POPLA bad decisions.

    I would just ignore MET

What you should do, is stay away from Mcjunk food thanks to MET

I did not leave a person out of my emails, I have complained to pretty much everyone.

I managed to get a breakthrough, I emailed the McDonalds UK CEO, he had forwarded my complaint onto customer service whom took more interest than when I initially emailed them myself. They have then forwarded my complaint to the relevant branch manager and the branch manager has taken my receipts and the parking ticket and managed to get it cancelled as I am a genuine customer at McDonalds not abusing their parking.

    thanks for everyones help

    Hooray - well done! :T

So glad this cost MET time & money to try to scam you. Love it when PPCs keep losing.

Thanks to your persistence and motivation coupon, I was willing to throw in the towel just before the POPLA stage as it was too much effort for me initially :rotfl:

However you have now changed my perspective, why am I going to let a PPC ever take any of my hard earned money with their scams, this was the first ticket I received. Anymore received are going to be treated in the same way = not seeing 0.01p out of me.

    Thanks for everyone’s help
