Royal Mail 1st class recorded not arrived after 3 days

Hi,

Sorry, new in this forum. Not quite sure if i am in the right category.

I have sent something through Royal Mail 1st class signed for 3 days ago. The tracking only says that the item was posted on the 30th. But the costumer is already asking for a refund.

Is it normal to take that long for delivery? Did it happened to any of you before?

Thanks in advance

It should have arrived but sometimes things take longer.
You’ll have to wait 10 working days to claim so I’d tell them to wait 10 working days.
Did your buyer tell you it was super urgent?

A buyer is not going to wait 10 working days and if they open a case leaving it until the last moment is not advisable as it tends to result in negative feedback.

OP, did you upload the tracking to ebay when it was sent? You needed to have done that in case it does get delivered after a case is opened.next reassure your buyer that signed for is only 1st class with a signature and is not a guaranteed service, ask them if they could wait until say next Tuesday/Wednesday and if it still hasn't arrived to open a case. Once the case is open wait a few more days before refunding to give it a good chance of arriving.
