Mobile IP tracking, fingerprinting.

Hi. I have a question regarding IP and device tracking, device fingerprinting from bank apps on phone. I use Monzo (UK MOBILE ONLY bank), so does my whole family and kids. It can only be accessed via a phone app, no PC or real life options to check your balance or make a transfer. I was wondering if those mobile apps and banks track or store my IP address somehow even when I switch the location off or use another internet connection. Obviously I don't wanna send alerts to the bank that the same IP is logging into multiple different accounts, it would look suspicious. If they are indeed fingerprinting me, is there a way to create unique IPs or something so this doesn't look weird?

Im not sure what you are asking ..

What is it that you are trying to achieve ?

If you mean that you want to use the same phone to log in to different peoples accounts on the app then this is unlikely to be possible.

It has nothing to do with IP address but rather the mac address of the device is linked to that particular install of the application.

You cant spoof the mac address of a phone ... (unless you have a certain skill set)

Ok so is this app one of the ones that asks you for your account information every time you log in ?

Or does it only ask you once , the first time you run it ?

It's Monzo's app mate ( the mobile bank). In case you haven't used it, you can log in log out with email and password.

Ok well in that case it doesnt matter. There is no need to worry.

Just carry on and dont worry about 'fingerprinting' or 'ip address tracking'

If they wanted to lock it down so only one user could use the app, they would do
(every bank or credit card app that i use does that)
