NatWest and RBS switch

I never switch to one of these banks in the past and never had an account with them! I want to switch my Halifax Reward account and Nationwide FlexDirect account! I will get the cashback on both of them?

No.

Per their terms:

We're sorry but if you've had cashback for switching to NatWest (or Royal Bank of Scotland) since October 2017 you won't be able to get it again.

Check the T&Cs closely - in short no.

NatWest clearly states that if you've received a RBS incentive then you are not eligible for their bonus, and vice versa for RBS with respect to NatWest accounts. It doesn't matter when you switch the accounts, it matters when the switch incentive payments are received. As soon as you receive payment from one you will have disqualified yourself from the other.

The full T&C’s say this

You won’t be eligible for this offer if you’ve already taken advantage of a cash offer from NatWest and/or
The Royal Bank of Scotland plc (‘RBS’) between October 2017 and March 2019 for (i) opening a new current account and switching to RBS/NatWest or (ii) upgrading your existing RBS/NatWest current account.

So you maybe you can get both if you’ve not previously received an incentive from either bank between Oct 2017 & March 2019?

Any ideas? I vaguely remember Martin Lewis saying you could qualify for both on their previous incentive offers so trying to find this out myself
