Already explained in #2!

Both policies are in force and both would (and will) pay out if a claim was made!

I expect you would have had lots of documentation when you took-out the policies. May I suggest that you have either lost or misplaced it.


During my service with a Life Office, when a policyholder claimed to have lost a policy we routinely sent out a Statutory Declaration for completion. Faced with the hassle and expense of completing this, it was often the case that the 'lost' policy suddenly reappeared.

Well, thanks everyone who responded, was kind of clutching at straws in the first place.
Yes it's my fault and yes i know it and no I'm not looking to blame anyone, like most people I take the responsibility myself learn from it and try not to let it bother me.
