Can they hold Landlord responsible?

Wow!
and I was under the impression the Scots were more protective than the English of their tenants.
Seems a 12 month tenancy in Scotland provides only 28 days security from eviction, given the extensive grounds.
I must admit I was rather surprised to discover this. Having been both a tenant and a LL in Scotland in the past this wasn't something I was aware of, so I wonder if there have been changes fairly recently. Perhaps artful or other current Scottish LLs will come along and offer an up to date view in the situation.0 -

It is pretty new the Scottish government wanted their own documents, legal notices, etc with Scotland all over them.
It is supposed to be fair to both landlord and tenant LOL
